Service Engineer

Village, CO, is looking for an experienced Service Engineer.
Responsibilities
The Service Engineer will provide field support and after-sales service for material handling equipment which is designed and supplied by the Company. The Service Engineer will support the Company and its customers during equipment installation, commissioning, start-up and for after sales maintenance services. The Service Engineer will provide written progress or inspection reports.

The Service Engineer will perform duties including, but not limited to,
the
following:
- Represent
the Company to customers, providing
on-site support and supervision for installation, modification,
diagnosis and
repair of material handling equipment and associated peripherals. Typical equipment includes
belt conveyors,
pipe conveyors, stacking and reclaiming equipment, ship loaders and
un-loaders
including barge un-loaders, and crushing plants.
- Prepare
Technical
Service Reports or field evaluations and inspections.
- Develop
installation instructions and procedures.
- Create
cost
estimates and proposals for field changes and repair procedures.
Desired
Experience:
- 5+
years in the material handling industries
- Candidates
with extensive hands-on experience
are preferred.
Required
Education:
- Degree
in Mechanical or Structural Engineering,
or equivalent education preferred.
Required
Technical Knowledge:
- Knowledge
of AutoCAD preferred, but not
required.
- Proficient
with MS Excel and Word
- Ability
to read and understand schematics, plans and technical specifications
Other
Requirements:
- Ability
to work autonomously on service
projects
- Good
communication skills
- Willingness
to travel for extended period of
time, domestically and internationally
- Posses
a strong analytical capaability
- Some
Spanish language skills preferred, but not
required
