Project Manager
ThyssenKrupp Robins is looking for a project manager with experience on bulk material handling equipment for the mining industry. The ideal candidate will be experienced in dealing with equipment contractors, steel fabricators, sub-contractors, and most important- the client.
Responsibilities
- Execute design, supply and construction projects (typically $5M-$50M) for bulk material handling systems, mainly in North and South America.
- Perform project management work from design to implementation in accordance with organization´s standards.
- Participate as a key contributor on project and technical / commercial teams and may provide guidance to others as assigned.
- Be responsible for the support of process and procedure control.
- Monitoring of budgets, costs, schedule, risks, quality, change management, and overall project execution.
- Coordinate purchasing activities, negotiate larger sub-contracts.
- Maintain prime contact to clients.
- Report to company´s management.
Desired Experience:
- 5+ years
Requirements:
- Understanding and practical application experience of the material handling industry.
- BS or Masters degree in Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of contractual language.
- Good communication skills.
- Domestic and International travel.
